Infrastructural Support to NPOs:
Foundation of the Faithful (FOF) is a non-profit organization registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1860. The organization aims to enhance the quality of life for all, individual or families, without discrimination of colour, creed, religious or political preferences. An organization has to face many geographical, social, economic resources to meet challenging trends. By each organization continues to adjust their goals and priorities to meet challenging trends. By accepting all these challenges it needs a devoted, motivated, resourceful, energetic group of well-known personalities decided to take extra steps ahead in the field of relief work and design such an organization which would accept and face all challenges to provide relief across Pakistan.
Agosh (orphan house) with Alkhidmat Foundation:
The organization has provided financial aid to Alkhidmat Foundation to construct an orphan house through a Memorandum of Understanding. It is located on Sharaqpur road, Sheikhupura, Punjab. The main objective of this program is to provide free shelter, residence, education, food and all basic amenities of life to orphans inside one boundary wall. The construction started in 2013 and completed in 2017. The building has a capacity to cater 200 kids. Currently it is facilitating 80 orphans with all basic amenities. For the purpose of field evaluation, PCP team visited the Agosh (orphan house) located on Sharaqpur road and took an overall tour of the building. During the field evaluation, it was observed that it is a purpose-built building which consists of warden rooms, guest room, store, kitchen, dining hall, library & computer lab, laundry, supporting staff room, mosque, and open area for games & future expansion, car parking area, lawn, indoor games area, and a security guard room. The team interacted with the program staff and the beneficiaries. Interaction with the beneficiaries revealed that they are satisfied with the services provided by the organization.
