Foundation of the Faithful (FOF) is a non-profit organization registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1860. The organization aims to enhance the quality of life for all, individual or families, without discrimination of colour, creed, religious or political preferences. An organization has to face many geographical, socio, financial priorities to meet implementation challenges on daily basis, every organization continues to adjust their goals and priorities to meet challenging trends. By accepting all these challenging trends a devoted, motivated, resourceful, energetic group of well-known personalities decided to take extra steps ahead in the field of relief work and design such an organization which would accept and face all challenges to provide relief across Pakistan.

Infrastructural Support to NPOs:

i. Agosh (orphan house)

The organization has provided financial aid to construct an orphan house through a Memorandum of Understanding. It is located on Sharaqpur road, Sheikhupura, Punjab. The main objective of this program is to provide free shelter, residence, food, education and all basic amenities of life to orphans under one boundary wall. The construction started in 2013 and completed in 2017. The building has a capacity to cater 200 kids. Currently it is facilitating 80 orphans.

For the purpose of field evaluation, PCP team visited the Agosh (orphan house) located on Sharaqpur road and took an overall view of the building. On their visit, it was observed that it is a purpose built building which consists of warden rooms, guest room, store, kitchen, dining hall, library & computer lab, laundry, housekeeping staff room, mosque, and open area for games & fixtures, car parking area, lawn, water dispensers and a security guard room. The team interacted with the program staff and the beneficiaries. Interaction with the beneficiaries revealed that they are satisfied with the services provided by the organization.

ii. Health Projects:

The organization has also provided financial aid for the development of mother and child hospitals in different cities of Pakistan. The main objective of this program is to provide financial and material support for the projects proposed by AKFP and approved by FOF. In years 2015-2016-2017 development funds for following hospitals of FOF were released.

iii. Educational Projects with Ghazali Education Trust Pakistan:

The organization has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ghazali Education Trust Pakistan in 2013 for the purpose of building and running of educational institutions. Two Schools were constructed in Garlat Balakot and Chapra, Mansehra with the help of FOF US in 2013. During last three years the organisation has installed security cameras in FOF School Chapra, Mansehra, constructed a boundary wall for the FOF School Garlat Balakot and carried out renovation in these schools.
